About us

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion for environmental sustainability and health. As a small business, SAMGO1 LLC is dedicated to providing high-quality face masks. Our approach is rooted in innovation and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence in both product and service.

Our inspiration

Inspired by the alarming environmental impact of disposable surgical masks, as highlighted by studies showing over 18 million tons of carbon emissions from these masks between 2020-2022, SAMGO1 LLC was founded to offer a sustainable alternative. Our flagship product, the  SUPER MASK, represents a step closer to change, combining health and environmental consciousness.

What makes us different?

SAMGO1 LLC's face masks stand out due to their Dynamic Filter Technology: Breathing-Responsive Design. This unique system enhances breathability and comfort while maintaining high filtration efficiency. The filter moves in response to breathing cycles, reducing airflow resistance and improving overall user experience. Our innovative design helps direct airflow, potentially dislodges trapped particles, and offers a more adaptive and comfortable fit.

Our core values

SAMGO1 LLC is driven by core values that include integrity, honesty, respect, responsibility, excellence, accountability, and collaboration. These principles guide every aspect of our business, from product development to customer relations.

Based on Bernoulli's principle, if you inhale through a mask with a 1-inch opening, the majority of the airflow will come through the hole. This is due to a phenomenon called the Venturi effect, where the air's velocity increases as it moves through a constricted area, causing the pressure to drop and drawing in more air.

Here is a breakdown of what happens:

  • Reduced pressure: Inhalation creates a negative pressure inside the mask relative to the outside air.
  • Airflow through the hole: As the air moves through the small 1-inch opening, its velocity increases significantly.
  • Venturi effect: This increase in speed causes the air pressure inside the narrow hole to decrease even further, a phenomenon known as the Venturi effect.
  • Ambient air intake: The very low pressure in the opening acts as a "sink," drawing in and entraining a much larger flow of surrounding ambient air along with it.
  • Minimal leakage through the sides: While some air might still leak in through the sides of the mask if the seal isn't perfect, the high-speed, low-pressure jet of air created by the 1-inch opening will account for the majority of the flow.

The Samgo1 LLC "Super Mask" is designed to use this principle for enhanced performance. The mask has a floating filter that responds to your breathing. The movement of air caused by your inhalation and exhalation creates friction that can generate or replenish an electrostatic charge on the filter media, which helps capture airborne particles.

"Path of Least Resistance."

A respirator mask relies completely on the physics of airflow and the "path of least resistance."

Because air naturally takes the easiest route available, a respirator will only protect you if the path of least resistance forces the air through the filter rather than around the edges. If there is even a tiny gap between the mask and your skin, dirty air will bypass the filtration media entirely and flow straight into your lungs.

Air will travel through the path of least resistance.

In physics and fluid dynamics, this means that moving air (or any fluid) will automatically flow toward the area with the lowest pressure.

A one-inch opening can cause air to act like a concentrated stream. (Front one-inch opening) This setup directly involves or triggers the Venturi effect or related aerodynamic principles. Just like pinching the end of a garden hose makes the water shoot out in a high-velocity stream, narrowing an airflow creates a focused, jet-like stream resembling human breath. Venturi Sweeping: This fast-moving exhalation stream creates a localized low-pressure drop behind it. It acts as a fluid pump, actively pulling the remaining stagnant air and moisture pockets out of the mask's "dead space." This lowers the overall work of breathing and optimizes comfort.
